Kristel Elling is a classically trained actress originally from Estonia. She studied acting at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

She has since worked across film, television, and theatre in Estonia, Europe, and the U.S.

This October, she can be seen in the new Netflix film Animals, playing a reporter opposite Ben Affleck, and, in early 2027, in the Finnish-Estonian crime series Helsinki–Tallinn, in which she stars as a tough police chief. The series is directed by Juha Lankinen (Arctic Circle).
